BingX referral code vs referral link: what's the difference?

They do the same job in two forms. A BingX referral link is a sign-up link with the referral code built into it — opening it before you register fills the code in for you — while the code on its own is something you type into the referral code field. Either way your account is bound to the same referrer. The difference appears after sign-up: BingX's My Referrer section takes a typed code, and only while the account has no deposit and no invites, so a link no longer helps at that point.

Same binding, two ways to deliver it

  • Referral link — the code travels inside the address. In loweef's BingX link the code is the last part of the address, after `/invite/`, and the link opens on bingxdao.com, an official BingX domain. Open it, then register in the same browser.
  • Referral code — the same string, typed by hand into the referral code field during registration. Useful when you register somewhere other than where you opened the link, or when someone tells you the code rather than sending a link.

The loweef BingX code is shown in the BingX sign-up guide.

Which one to use

  • Opening a new account: use the link, and before you submit the form check that the referral code field shows the code. If it's empty, type the code in yourself — it's the field that counts.
  • Already registered, no deposit and no invites yet: a link can't be applied to an existing account. Add the code by hand in My Referrer — in the app, tap your avatar, then the arrow next to it to open Profile Settings; on the web, go to Account & Security and scroll down. Steps and conditions: can you add a BingX referral code after registration.
  • Already bound, or already deposited: neither the link nor the code changes anything. BingX says a bound code can't be changed or removed.

These are BingX's rules and BingX can change them. If a code you entered seems to be ignored, see why a BingX referral code seems not to work.

If your account no longer qualifies

The remaining route is moving to a new account opened through the link, using BingX's own verification transfer so you don't redo KYC from scratch — the BingX KYC transfer guide walks through it. Move your funds and trade on the new account only: a second account of your own kept to refer yourself is a self-referral scheme and isn't eligible for payback under loweef's terms.

What the code decides

Link or code, the result is the same binding: it decides who receives the referral commission from your trading fees, and it doesn't change BingX's fee schedule. Bound to loweef's BingX code, 60% of each trading fee you pay comes back to you, accruing daily in USDT (what the BingX referral code does):

Exchange Total rate Welcome boost Effective taker
AlphaX 65% — 0.0175%
BingX 60% 70% 0.0200%
OKX 50% 60% 0.0250%
MEXC 55% 65% 0.0180%

Figures are estimates based on published rates; actual results vary with maker/taker mix, and rates can change prospectively.

Frequently asked questions

Is a BingX referral link better than entering the code?

They lead to the same binding. The link fills the code in for you, which avoids typos; the code is what you need when you register somewhere the link didn't open, or when you add a referrer in My Referrer after sign-up.

Can I use a referral link on a BingX account I already have?

No. A link only works at registration. An existing account can take a typed code in My Referrer, and only if it has made no deposit and invited no one yet.

Where is the code inside loweef's BingX referral link?

At the end of the address, after /invite/. It is the same code shown in the BingX sign-up guide, so you can type it by hand if the field is empty.
