Account linking
Account linking is connecting your exchange account to a rebate platform by registering its UID — the single setup step that activates payback tracking. No deposits, no API keys, no custody.
Linking is deliberately thin. You create the exchange account through the platform's referral (so attribution is correct), find your UID, and submit it. After verification confirms the attribution, the link is active: from that point, fees recorded against your UID generate accruals at your exchange's total rate.
What linking does not involve defines the security model. The platform never receives your exchange password, never asks for API keys with trading or withdrawal permissions, and never holds a balance for you — payback settles into your exchange account, which remains entirely under your control. Unlinking is equally clean, since nothing of yours was ever transferred.
One link per exchange account is the norm; traders on multiple partner exchanges link each UID separately and see combined accruals in one dashboard. On loweef, accrual is retroactive to the submission date once verification completes — a delayed manual review does not cost you the days in between.
