Total rate
On loweef, the total rate is the full percentage of your trading fees returned to you — the standard rebate plus loweef's payback combined into one number, currently 50–67% depending on the exchange.
Payback offers often split the return into components: a base rebate configured on the exchange side, plus an additional share paid by the platform from its own commission. Quoting the components separately makes comparison confusing, so loweef displays a single combined figure — the total rate — everywhere a percentage appears.
The total rate answers the only question that matters to a trader: of every dollar I pay in fees, how much comes back? A 67% total rate on a $100 monthly fee bill returns $67 a month, regardless of how the components are structured internally.
Two caveats keep the number honest. First, totals differ by exchange because affiliate terms differ — check the rate for your venue, not the range's top end. Second, during a welcome boost window the total is temporarily higher; the standard total rate is what persists afterwards. Both the standard and boosted figures are shown with the calculation, never merged.
