How Much Are Toobit Fees?
Toobit's standard futures fees are 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker per filled order. Your effective cost also depends on your VIP tier, your maker/taker mix, and funding payments on positions held through funding timestamps.
The published fee schedule
Toobit's standard futures schedule is 0.02% for maker orders (adding liquidity to the book) and 0.06% for taker orders (removing liquidity). As on most exchanges, spot and futures schedules differ, and VIP tiers reduce both rates as your 30-day volume grows — always confirm the current numbers on the exchange's own fee page before trading.
What actually drives your effective cost
- Maker vs taker mix. Market orders always pay the taker rate. Limit orders that rest on the book pay the maker rate. A scalper who crosses the spread all day pays meaningfully more than the headline schedule suggests.
- Both sides are charged. Opening and closing a position are two separate fills, so a round trip costs roughly double the per-order rate. How futures fees add up →
- Funding payments. Perpetual positions held through a funding timestamp pay (or receive) funding on top of trading fees — a separate cost line that many traders forget to count.
- VIP tier. Higher 30-day volume moves you down the schedule on most exchanges, Toobit included.

Frequently asked questions
Do Toobit fees apply to both opening and closing a position?
Yes. Opening and closing are separate trades and each fill is charged, so a full round trip costs roughly twice the per-order rate — at the standard taker rate of 0.06%, about double that per completed trade cycle.
How can I lower my effective Toobit fees?
The levers are the same as on most exchanges: use maker (limit) orders where your strategy allows (0.02% instead of 0.06%), grow into a lower VIP tier with volume, and account for funding when holding perpetual positions. Fee payback via loweef is not available on Toobit; it is available on partner exchanges such as BingX, OKX and MEXC.
