1. Trading risk

Trading cryptocurrency, and cryptocurrency derivatives in particular, involves a substantial risk of loss. With leverage, losses can exceed the margin you committed. Most retail derivatives traders lose money. Nothing loweef does reduces that risk in any way.

2. Payback is not a return on an investment

Payback and exchange rebates are a partial return of trading fees you have already paid. They are not yield, not interest, not profit, and not a return on capital.

Payback does not offset trading losses. A fee refund on a losing trade is still a losing trade. Payback should never be a reason to trade more often, in larger size, or with more leverage than you otherwise would — doing so reliably costs more than the payback is worth.

3. Everything shown before settlement is an estimate

Calculators, payback checks, comparison tables and worked examples are estimates. They are derived from published standard fee schedules and from figures you enter yourself. Your actual amount depends on your real fills, your VIP tier and any fee discounts you hold, and on the commission data the exchange reports for your UID.

Where we show a rate, we also show the date on which we last verified it against the exchange's published schedule.

4. We depend on third parties

Payback exists only because exchanges run affiliate programmes and report accurately. Exchange policy changes, programme changes, delistings, outages, account actions, reporting errors and insolvency are outside our control, and any of them can reduce or stop payback.

We do not hold your funds, so our own failure would not put your balance at risk — your assets are on the exchange, subject to the exchange's risk, not ours.

5. Jurisdiction

Access to exchanges, and to derivatives products in particular, is restricted or prohibited in some places. Confirming that your use of an exchange, and of loweef, is lawful where you live is your responsibility.
